About IEEE Madras Section
The IEEE Madras Section is one of the most active sections in India, coming under Asia – Pacific Region, the Region 10 of IEEE covering Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry states. IEEE Madras Section has several dedicated volunteers, who have been actively involved in making this one of the most active sections.
About IEEE SMVEC Student Branch
The objective of starting IEEE Student branch was to create awareness about the day today technological developments and to make them to utilize the resources available in IEEE. It is designed to serve professionals involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic and computing fields and related areas of science and technology that underlie modern civilization.
The Members of IEEE – SMVEC are active participants in national and international level hackathons and involve in multiple projects.The Student Branch has been actively organizing and participating in different seminars, workshops and competitions to encourage students to become more proficient in their aspired fields.
