ASM International is the world’s largest association of metals-centric materials engineers and scientists. They are dedicated for informing, educating, and connecting the materials community to solve problems and stimulate innovation around the world. Department of Mechanical Engineering joined hands with ASM International Chennai Chapter organized National Workshop on Materials for Automotive Industries (MAI 2015) 12th September 2015. The Chief Guest of this ASM function was Dr Kamachi Mudali, Associative Director, IGCAR, Kalpakkam. The Academic and Industrial Personalities have delivered the eminent lectures at various Topics. On this day our Director cum Principal Dr.V.S.K.Venkatachalapathy was awarded “Best Outstanding Academician” by ASM International Chennai Chapter. Dr.Kamatchi Mudali, chairman ASM-Chennai chapter presented the award and other active ASM members were also present, our Chairman, Vice chairman and Secretary felicitated the event.

One day workshop on “Two-Wheeler Mechanism “, conducted for III year students
