The Research & Development (R & D) Cell of SMVEC facilitates and encourages research activities among the expertise faculties and budding engineers in evolving areas of Engineering, Technology, Science and Humanities including multidisciplinary fields. The
R&D Cell also monitors the research activities of the college by enhancing the ideal research capability of faculty and students by participating in conferences, seminars, workshops, project competitions, Training programs etc. The R&D Cell helps in submitting research proposals to various funding agencies and also for patenting the innovative ideas.
To create research culture among the faculties and students thereby nurturing innovation in Research and Development, Quality Publications, Consultancy, Patents and Entrepreneurial skills.
To promote research in emerging areas of Science and Technology including
