Embracing Tradition: Welcome Dance & Lamp Lighting

The program began with a vibrant welcome dance, showcasing the rich tapestry of Indian classical and folk traditions. Such performances are not merely artistic expressions but are deeply rooted in Indian culture, serving as mediums to convey stories, emotions, and spiritual themes.

Following the dance, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, or diya, was performed. In Indian tradition, lighting a lamp symbolizes the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and enlightenment. This act is considered auspicious, marking the beginning of significant events with positivity and divine blessings.

The awareness session featured esteemed speaker Shri. C.Sivakumar IRS, Additional commissioner of income tax Chennai, including experienced civil servants and UPSC coaching experts, who provided invaluable insights into the Civil Services Examination. Key topics covered included:
