About the Department
Civil engineering, one of the oldest specialities after military engineering, is critical to advancing civilization. It includes the design, building, and upkeep of the built environment. Sub-disciplines include environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, and others.
The field includes public and private sectors, ranging from municipal undertakings to worldwide endeavours. The Civil Engineering department at our university was formed in the academic year 2012-13 with 60 students. By 2015, student enrollment had doubled to 120; it is expected to reach 60 students annually by 2021.

- Engineering Block Lecture Halls: Four halls ranging from 484 to 719 square feet.
- HOD Cabin and Staff Room: The HOD cabin measures 145 square feet, while the staff room is 346 square feet.
- Classrooms: Various classrooms spanning four years of study, each with twin desks ranging from 484 to 719 square feet.
- The library room has bookshelves and bureaus.
- Specialized labs include building planning, fluid mechanics, surveying, and concrete engineering.
