As part of SMVEC’s Silver Jubilee Celebration, the Department of Civil Engineering is organizing a seminar for World Soil Day 2024, centered around the theme ” Caring for Soils: Measure, Monitor, and Manage .” The seminar will be held on December 5, 2024, at 9:30 AM in the Conference Hall. Dr. K. Srinivasamoorthy, Professor in the Department of Earth Science at Pondicherry University, Puducherry, will lead the session, highlighting the importance of soil management in promoting sustainability and addressing climate change.
