Welcome to the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE) at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College (SMVEC). Established in 2020 with an intake of 60 students, the department is approved by AICTE and affiliated with UGC, offering industry-aligned education that bridges the domains of Computer Science, Electronics, and Communication. The CCE programme provides a strong foundation in Digital Systems, Communication Technologies, Embedded Systems, and IoT, complemented by advanced computing courses such as Programming in C, Python, and Java, Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Web & Mobile Application Development. This unique interdisciplinary curriculum equips students with dual competencies in hardware and software, preparing them for successful careers in both core communication and leading IT industries.
