CSBS & AIDS Students Clinch First Place in 24-Hour Hackathon
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College has once again brought laurels to the institution by securing the First Place in the 24-Hour Hackathon hosted by Jai Shree Ram Engineering College, Thirupur, on 23rd August 2025.
A Battle of Innovation and Endurance
The hackathon, known for its intensity and demand for quick, creative problem-solving, brought together more than 100 highly competitive teams from reputed institutions across the region. Each team was challenged to apply their knowledge, creativity, and endurance to develop innovative solutions within a strict 24-hour timeframe.
Amidst this fierce competition, our students stood out with their unique ideas, technical expertise, and strong collaborative spirit. Their approach to tackling real-time challenges showcased not only academic brilliance but also an ability to think beyond conventional boundaries.
From Challenge to Victory
Working tirelessly through the marathon coding session, the team displayed unwavering focus and determination. Their ability to merge innovation with practical problem-solving impressed the jury and distinguished them from the rest. As a result, they emerged as the winners of the prestigious event, bringing immense pride to the college.
Adding to the celebration, the team was rewarded with a cash prize of ₹3,000, a token of recognition for their relentless efforts and technical brilliance throughout the competition.
