Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm to appreciate and honor the hard work and dedication of our staff members. The event created a joyful atmosphere, giving teachers a chance to relax, enjoy, and celebrate their special day.
A Joyful Beginning with Fun Games
The celebration began on a lively note with a series of fun games and competitions exclusively organized for the faculty. These engaging activities brought out the cheerful spirit of the teachers, encouraging friendly participation and creating moments of laughter and enjoyment.
The Competition started
Flower Rangoli Competition
The first game of the Teachers’ Day celebration was the Flower Rangoli Competition, which brought an artistic and festive touch to the event. A total of five teams participated, each showcasing their creativity and teamwork through vibrant floral designs.
Every rangoli was unique, blending beautiful patterns with colourful arrangements of flowers. The venue bloomed with charm as the rangolis reflected not just artistry but also the joy of working together as a team. The judges and audience were captivated by the different and colourful designs, making the competition a delightful start to the celebrations.
Fun Games Kick-Off
The next segment of the Teachers’ Day celebration, featuring exciting fun games, was officially inaugurated by Dr. A.A. Arivalagar, Dean of Academics. His presence added enthusiasm and energy to the event, motivating all participants to join in with full spirit.
With His encouraging words, the teachers eagerly took part in the games, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and memorable moments. His involvement highlighted the importance of celebrating teamwork, joy, and camaraderie among the staff.
Cone on Head Challenge

The event was made even more lively with the participation of Dr. A.A. Arivalagar, Dean of Academics, Dr. N. Danapaquiame, HoD/CSEBS, and Dr. D. Jaichithra, HoD/English, who actively joined in the game. Their involvement not only entertained the audience but also encouraged the teachers to participate enthusiastically, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and active engagement throughout the competition.
Balloon Tap & Cup Pyramid Challenge
The excitement continued with the “Tap the Balloon & Arrange a Pyramid with Paper Cups” game, which brought out the competitive spirit and teamwork among the staff. Both female and male staff members actively participated, cheering each other on while showing off their coordination and speed.
Knowledge-Based Competitions: Poetry & Essay Writing
The celebrations also included intellectually engaging competitions, featuring Poetry and Essay Writing. Unlike the previous fun games, this segment was organized in a more structured manner, like a mini-exam, with designated invigilators overseeing the participants.
Teachers put their creativity and critical thinking to the test, carefully crafting poems and essays that reflected their thoughts, experiences, and literary flair. The atmosphere was focused yet inspiring, highlighting the talent and expressive skills of the staff beyond their day-to-day teaching roles.
Tie the Balloon on Back – Save Your Balloon
The celebration continued with the “Tie the Balloon on Back – Save Your Balloon” game, which quickly became a stress-buster for all participants. Teachers, taking a break from their daily routines, joyfully ran around trying to protect their balloons while attempting to burst others’, creating a lively and playful atmosphere.
Solo singing & Group singing
Our Teachers’ Day celebration was filled with music, joy, and appreciation. Talented students amazed everyone with soulful solo performances, while group singing showcased teamwork and energy. The event was a heartfelt tribute to our teachers, leaving everyone with cherished memories of respect and gratitude.
Valedictory Function
Welcome Address:
The Valedictory function began with a heartfelt Welcome Address delivered by Dr. V. S. K. Venkatachalapathy Director Cum Principal. in his heartfelt Welcome Address, reflected with pride on the institution’s remarkable journey, attributing its success to the collective efforts of the management, faculty, and staff.
He warmly congratulated the team for their dedication and tireless support, emphasizing that every milestone is a result of their passion and commitment. While celebrating past achievements, he also motivated the staff to strive for future excellence, embrace innovation, and work together towards greater accomplishments, setting an inspiring and forward-looking tone for the occasion.
Presidential Address:
The presidential address was delivered by Shri. D. Rajarajan, Treasurer of SMVET, in his Address, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the faculty and staff, acknowledging their vital role in the institution’s success through unwavering dedication and collective effort. He announced that next year’s Teachers’ Day would be celebrated on a grand scale, reflecting his deep regard for the teaching fraternity, and concluded by extending warm wishes, leaving the audience inspired and looking forward to future celebrations.
