The Felicitation Address was delivered by Shri D. Rajarajan, Treasurer of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust (SMVET), delivered an inspiring Felicitation Address.
During his speech He highlighted the pride India takes in its unity in diversity, explaining how the country’s myriad cultures, traditions, and appearances coexist harmoniously despite their differences. He emphasized that this diversity is what truly makes India unique, contrasting it with more homogeneous countries like China and Iran. While acknowledging that differences of opinion naturally arise within such diversity, he stressed the importance of respecting these varying viewpoints without insult or disrespect. Reflecting on his own experiences, including moving to Canada at the age of 24 and observing diverse youth populations, he expressed hope that future generations will uphold and support the legacy of their predecessors. His central message was a call for individual independence—not just in thought but in action—with a focus on creating a positive impact and living meaningful lives. The Presidential Address was delivered by Shri. M. Dhanasekaran, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust (SMVET).
During his speech He shed light on the meticulous planning involved in the film industry, especially when working with new actors or directors, emphasizing the importance of pre-production coordination such as scheduling tours and shows in advance. He contrasted the Indian tradition of grand movie celebrations with the more subdued, brotherly connections seen elsewhere, stressing that maintaining strong relationships within the industry is key to its survival. Highlighting cultural differences across various places like India and Oman, he clarified that these variations are not conflicts but unique ways of celebrating diversity. The discussion then shifted to demographic challenges, where the he pointed out issues related to passport policies across different age groups and underscored the need to address these problems to progress effectively. Comparing population statistics of countries like Germany, India, China, and the US, he noted the existing growth gaps and emphasized the importance of strategic planning and cooperation with entities like the European Union to ensure balanced and sustainable development in the future.

Following the vibrant march past, the event smoothly transitioned into the much-anticipated Prize Distribution Ceremony, a proud moment recognizing students’ outstanding achievements across academics, attendance, and competitions. Rank holders were felicitated first, honored with medals and certificates for their exceptional performance, inspiring all with their dedication. Students who achieved 100% attendance were also celebrated for their consistency and discipline, underscoring the importance of commitment. The ceremony continued by acknowledging winners of various Independence Day competitions—ranging from speech and essay writing to singing, dance, and sports—showcasing the diverse talents and passion of the students. March past Rankings:
Topping the chart, the Mechatronics and Civil Engineering departments shared the prestigious first position. Both departments demonstrated exceptional skills and teamwork, setting a high benchmark for their peers.
Following closely, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) secured the second position, reflecting their commitment to innovation and technical prowess.
The third position was awarded to the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS), whose efforts in advancing cutting-edge technology and research were clearly evident.
The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department claimed the fourth spot, showcasing strong capabilities in their domain.
Rounding out the top five, the Biomedical Engineering (BME) department earned the fifth position, underlining their dedication to the intersection of technology and healthcare.
