Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College,Department of Civil Engineering and Institution of Engineers IEI, Puducherry Center India has jointly organized a one day seminar on the topic “Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) For Climate Change Mitigationg” on 15th April, 2025 at 09.00 AM in the Conference Hall. The seminar will cover the science behind CCS, its environmental benefits, challenges in implementation, and its role in achieving global carbon reduction goals. By addressing the technical, environmental, and regulatory aspects of CCS, the scaling up of CCS efforts to reduce carbon emissions can be ascertained. It will also highlight the challenges, opportunities, and innovations in the field, fostering collaboration among engineers, policymakers, and the global community to achieve a sustainable future.
