On 26 December 2024, the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and competition as it hosted Roborikishi 2024—a national-level robotics extravaganza organized by NIE’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics Club.

From high-speed Robo Races and strategic Robo Soccer matches to precision-driven Line Follower and adrenaline-pumping Robo War, the event showcased an impressive diversity of challenges. Students from engineering colleges across India assembled to demonstrate their ingenuity and robotics prowess.

Amid intense competition, one participant truly shone—Yuvanesh Balaji. His consistent performance and intelligent robot design secured him the ₹7,000 cash prize, a well-deserved reward for his exceptional skill demonstrated throughout the competition.
