A team of final-year students specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College achieved the prestigious First Runner Up title in “Virtusa Jatayu Season III – An Ideathon program” held between December 2022 and December 2023. They excelled in the TMT EAST 2 SENTIMENT ANALYSIS MICROSERVICE use case, with team members including SANTHANABHARATHI S, HARINI S, SARANYA M, ANNI SHARLEENA AB, and GAAYATHRI M.
Virtusa, a leading IT company, organized the “Virtusa Jatayu Season III contest 2023,” attracting over 5000 teams and 25,000 students from 108+ engineering colleges. The competition featured 7+ challenging use cases, supported by 25+ experienced mentors from Virtusa and evaluated by a distinguished panel of 5+ judges. In the Finale, our team emerged as WINNERS in the specified use case category, securing the notable position of overall First Runner-Up among the 13 participating teams. We are proud to announce that all the winners have got placement offer with rupees 7 lakhs per annum.
