From the very first note of the pre-event music to the final standing ovation, every moment was crafted to transport attendees into a world of glamour, music, and magic.
The evening unfolded across several unforgettable segments — each one building on the last, each one raising the energy in the room a notch higher. Here’s a full walk-through of how the night played out.
Management Entry
Celestia 2.0 began on a powerful and memorable note with the First Management Entry, a moment that set the tone for the entire celebration. As the esteemed management graced the occasion, the atmosphere transformed with pride, purpose, and inspiration. Their presence symbolized not just leadership, but the vision, values, and dedication that form the backbone of Celestia.
Honouring the Pillars of Celestia 2.0
Following the inspiring first management entry, Celestia 2.0 moved into a heartfelt moment of honouring the pillars behind its success. This segment was dedicated to recognizing the leaders whose vision, commitment, and constant support have shaped not only this celebration but the institution’s journey of excellence.
Each honour was a symbol of gratitude—acknowledging years of guidance, encouragement, and trust that continue to empower students, faculty, and teams to achieve greater heights. The ceremony reflected the deep respect shared by the entire Celestia family for leadership that leads with integrity and purpose.
Welcome Address
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. V. S. K. Venkatachalapathy, Director-cum-Principal of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College.
In his address, he highlighted that while SMVEC has consistently excelled in academics, this event stands as a strong testament to the institution’s commitment to excellence beyond academics as well. He emphasized that SMVEC believes in excelling in every dimension—academics, innovation, culture, and holistic development—and organizing Celestia reflects this vision in action.
He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the respected management, acknowledging that the successful organization of this grand event was made possible only because of their constant support, encouragement, and leadership. He conveyed that the management deserves the highest appreciation for being the driving force behind such impactful initiatives.
Facilitation Address
The facilitation address was delivered by Shri. D. Rajarajan, Treasurer of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust.
In his address, he recalled that the previous year’s Celestia was celebrated on a grand scale as it coincided with the Silver Jubilee celebrations. Keeping that in mind, he mentioned that this year, discussions were held with the Director to organize the event in a simpler manner. However, he expressed his pleasant surprise that the event had transformed into a spectacular celebration, comparable to a grand music concert.
He proudly stated that this reflects the spirit of SMVEC—whenever the institution undertakes any initiative, it strives to execute it with quality and excellence. Emphasizing that he would not take much time, he concluded his address by stating that the sole agenda of the event was to enjoy and celebrate together.
Presidential Address
The Presidential Address was delivered by Shri M. Dhanasekaran, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust.
In his address, he shared that organizing a concert of this nature was a first-time experience for him. He expressed his enthusiasm and mentioned that he was eagerly looking forward to watching and enjoying the concert along with the students and participants. With these brief and warm remarks, he concluded his address, conveying his excitement for the event ahead.
Celebrity Guest Appearance
A Moment of Energy and Nostalgia: Actor Atharva Murali at Celestia
Renowned Indian actor Atharva Murali graced the event and delivered an energetic and heartfelt address that instantly connected with the audience.
Sharing his experience, he mentioned that he had attended numerous college events in the past, but Celestia felt truly different and unique. He honestly appreciated the vibrant energy of the event, stating that it stood out for its authenticity and enthusiasm.
He further shared a personal note that being at SMVEC reminded him of his own college days, recreating fond memories, as he himself is an engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering. This connection resonated strongly with the students, creating an atmosphere of warmth and relatability.
Congratulating SMVEC on successfully completing 25 remarkable years and stepping confidently into its 26th year, he called for a big round of applause for the management team, acknowledging their vision and efforts in creating such an impactful celebration. He concluded his address on a high note, leaving the audience inspired and energized.

One of the most memorable highlights of Celestia was the lively interaction session between the students and Atharva Murali.
During this session, students enthusiastically engaged with him, asking questions that reflected their curiosity, admiration, and genuine interest. The interaction was spontaneous and heartfelt, as students freely expressed whatever they wished to ask, making the session both lively and authentic.
Atharva responded with warmth and honesty, creating an open and friendly atmosphere that instantly connected him with the young audience. The exchange was filled with laughter, inspiration, and memorable moments, making it a truly special experience for everyone present.

Adding to the electrifying spirit of Celestia, Atharva Murali surprised everyone by joining the students on the dance floor.
Breaking all barriers between the stage and the audience, he danced alongside the students, instantly amplifying the energy and excitement of the event. His spontaneity and enthusiasm reflected his genuine connection with the crowd, turning the moment into a true celebration rather than just a performance.

Grand Entry of Singer Karthick
Then came the Grand Entry. With dramatic sound effects and a 10-minute production that rivalled a full concert opener, Singer Karthick took the stage in a moment that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Lights blazed, music soared, and the night officially transformed into something extraordinary.
The Live Concert
For an hour and thirty breath-taking minutes, Karthick held the stage — and the audience completely captive. Song after song, performance after performance, the Live Concert was a journey through emotion, melody, and pure musical brilliance. The crowd sang along, danced, and lost themselves entirely in the music.
Whether you were seated in the front row or at the very back, the energy was undeniable. The night had found its soul.
An Electrifying Musical Night: Karthick Sets the Stage on Fire
The musical concert by renowned playback singer Karthick turned out to be one of the most exhilarating highlights of Celestia.
The students enjoyed the concert with incredible vibrancy and enthusiasm as he delivered one energetic performance after another. Singing songs that perfectly resonated with the student crowd, he effortlessly lifted the mood and transformed the venue into a sea of excitement and celebration.
With his powerful vocals and engaging stage presence, he elevated the vibe of the event, encouraging students to dance, cheer, and sing along. The atmosphere was filled with unstoppable energy as the crowd moved in rhythm, making the concert a truly unforgettable experience.

Day 2 — Evening Gala Recap
An Unforgettable Night of Culture, Celebration & Star Power
Opening Ceremony
The evening kicked off with high energy as our emcees took the stage, welcoming everyone with warmth and electrifying enthusiasm. The Welcome & Introduction segment set the tone perfectly announcing that Day 2 would be bigger, bolder, and even more spectacular than the first. The crowd was buzzing with anticipation from the very first moment.
Band Performance
For 30 full minutes, the SMV Band owned the stage. The performance was a testament to months of practice, raw talent, and sheer passion. The audience was on their feet, swaying and cheering as every note filled the venue. It was the kind of performance that stays with you long after the night ends.
SMV Band Official Launch
One of the most anticipated moments of the evening, the official launch of the SMV Band. The energy in the room surged as the band was introduced to thunderous applause. This launch marks the beginning of a new chapter in the creative journey of our students.
Alumni Award Distribution
In a deeply heartfelt ceremony, our distinguished alumni were honoured with awards presented by the Chairman Sir and Treasurer Sir. The moment celebrated the journeys of those who walked these very corridors and went on to achieve great things a powerful reminder of what Celestia stands for: legacy, excellence, and belonging.
Movie Promotion Extravaganza
The evening took a cinematic turn as a special Movie Promotion segment brought Tollywood closer to campus. A thrilling engagement session with Sri Gowri Priya and Athirchi Arun, who interacted live with the student crowd.

Cultural Dance Performances
Nine spectacular dance performances dazzled the audience across the evening a beautiful showcase of our students’ artistic talent and diversity. Each performance was a window into a different facet of our students’ creativity from the grace of classical forms to the energy of contemporary moves. The audience was captivated from start to finish.
Malavika: Guest Felicitation & Interaction
A star walked in, and the auditorium erupted. Malavika’s introduction and grand entry was a defining moment of Celestia 2.0. Over 20 memorable minutes, the guest interacted with students, shared inspiring insights, and made everyone feel like they were part of something truly special. The felicitation ceremony was a beautiful tribute to her incredible work.
Special Mega Performance
100 students. One Grand Stage. Absolute magic! The Special Mega Performance was the creative showstopper of the evening. A breath-taking mass dance that showcased months of rehearsal, impeccable coordination, and boundless enthusiasm. The standing ovation spoke for itself. This was Celestia at its most spectacular.
The Surprise Guest Reveal
Mystery, excitement, and anticipation, the Surprise Guest segment had everyone on the edge of their seats. The interactive guessing game kept the audience buzzing with energy before the much-awaited reveal.
The moment finally arrived as Rio Raj made a grand entry, instantly lighting up the entire venue with his presence.
A special AV tribute was screened in honour of the guest, celebrating his journey and achievements. This was followed by an engaging interaction session with students, where his lively responses and connection with the audience made it a truly unforgettable experience for everyone present.
Prize Distribution
Winners were celebrated and dreams were acknowledged! The Prize Distribution ceremony honoured the Dance Winners along with the victors of the Celebrity Guessing Contest. Each award was a recognition of talent, hard work, and the spirit of Celestia.

DJ Night: 60 Minutes of Pure Celebration
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for the DJ Night. For a full hour, DJ Gowtham took command of the dance floor and turned Celestia into a full-blown celebration. The music was electric, the energy was infectious, and every student, faculty member, and guest was part of one massive, joyful celebration.
Fireworks
As the DJ set wound down, the sky above lit up with a dazzling fireworks display. Against the night sky, every burst of colour felt like a celebration of everything Celestia 2.0 had been the memories made, the friendships forged, and the milestones achieved. It was a moment of pure, collective joy.
Honouring DJ Gowtham
Before the night’s biggest party segment, DJ Gowtham was specially honoured for bringing the beats that energised every corner of the event. A well-deserved recognition for the man behind the music.
Thank You Note
Treasurer Sir delivered a moving vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort of every individual who contributed to making Celestia 2.0 a landmark event.
Celestia Cake Cutting
The SMVEC closed Celestia 2.0 in the sweetest way possible with a celebratory cake cutting that symbolised unity, achievement, and the promise of many more editions to come. As the knife cut through the cake, cheers and laughter filled the air one last time.
