TCS Innovate 2017

Three teams from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, Puducherry has bagged the First, Second and Fourth prizes in National level Project Contest “INNOVATE 2017” Organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Anna University, Guindy. M.Subash and S.Hariharasudhan of III year CSE department won the title of TCS Innovate 2017 with the cash prize of Rs.25,000 and internship in TCS, B.Thenmozhi and T.Dhivyaa of II year IT department won second prize with cash award of Rs.15,000 and internship in TCS, J. Arafath Nisha and M.Raghavi of CSE deparment got fourth place and internship in TCS . This is the second consecutive win by the SMVEC students on this contest. In Innovate 2K17, 4250 teams participated as National Level in first round, out of 12 teams 4 teams from SMVEC are short listed for the Grand Finale held at Chennai, as part of the Kurkshethra Technical Symposium by Anna University and organized by Tata Consultancy Services. Premkumar HOD CSE, Mr. R. Raju HOD IT and Staff members wished the students.
